For an insight or two about me, let’s rewind to my acceptance into the University of Florida after high school graduation. At the time, I knew more about what I didn’t want to do in life than what I did. Astrophysics was out as well as firefighting. So after earning a Bachelor’s degree in my only area of interest — Journalism and Communications — I honed these abilities through several positions in the corporate world, culminating as manager of internal publishing and communications for a Fortune 500 company in Atlanta, GA for 15 years.
Fast forward to my leaving the daily grind of office politics to pursue my increasing interest in spiritual growth. Enthusiastic pursuit of this higher calling led me to an “almost perfect therapy” called the Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT). In 2000, I incorporated EFT into my work as a spiritual growth consultant, and in 2002, I became a Gary Craig Certified EFT practitioner. I was also Certified as an EFT trainer by AAMET, now known as EFT International. My most current Certification is Gary Craig Certified Official EFT™ Master.
I have conducted Gold Standard EFT Tapping trainings since 2002 and in 2016, EFT founder Gary Craig appointed me Director of The Gary Craig Official EFT Training Center — English language. In 2017, I added his latest advancement, Optimal EFT/The Unseen Therapist, to the curriculum.
Along the way, I have taught classes and given lectures on EFT in various educational institutions, including Life Chiropractic University, Everest University, Virginia College, and for the class on Integrative Medicine at the University of North Florida.
I’ve been a guest on the television show, “A Woman’s Place,” which aired on the Atlanta Interfaith Broadcasting Network, and also appeared on the Jacksonville “Morning Show.”
