Doing the EFT Constricted Breathing Technique a few times a day increased Paul

Hi Everyone,

Paul Zelizer makes clever use of this helpful technique that I introduced in our DVD set EFT - Beyond the Basics (formerly Steps Toward Becoming the Ultimate Therapist). He says, "For such a small investment of time, the results have been remarkable."

We can live for days without water and weeks without food.  However, without oxygen we die within minutes.  Abundant oxygen is one of our most important needs.  Yet, in the stress of modern life, our breathing often becomes restricted.  This impacts all aspects of our health and well-being.

As a lifelong athlete and someone who specializes in using EFT for working on physical issues, I am well aware of the impact of stress on breathing.  In the past two months, I’ve been using EFT’s Constricted Breathing Technique to supercharge my daily workout.  It’s been very successful.

Here’s what I do.  At the start of each workout, I use the Constricted Breathing technique to ensure that I am breathing in a relaxed and efficient way.  It takes about 30 to 45 seconds.  Then at least twice during the day and just before going to sleep I do the same.

For such a small investment of time, the results have been remarkable.  My fitness routine combines martial arts, dance, bodybuilding and bodyweight conditioning.  I find that I have more energy, my workouts are crisper and I ’m recovering faster.  I’ve lost fat and gained about 4 pounds of pure muscle.

A friend of mine is fond of quoting Arnold Schwarzenegger as saying, “One lift with the breath is worth ten without.”  Taking these few moments in my day to make sure my breathing is optimal is having big results in my fitness level.  In fact, just this morning when I gave a friend a hug, she commented “you seem really strong”.

Once again I find myself deeply grateful for EFT
