Hi Everyone,
This is another one of those EFT examples that confounds the medical profession (and science in general). Linda Thompson's client had severe pain in both knees and one of his knees had no cartilage. Without nature's shock absorber it would seem impossible to remove the pain without surgery or medication. Nonetheless, that is what happened and, two months later, the pain was still gone. What happened? Did the cartilage grow back or did the knee just resume normal functioning without the cartilage? I think we have to look outside of conventional science for the answer. Please consult physicians on all medical issues.
Hugs, Gary

Hi Laurie!
First I tapped on the pain itself - I got him to describe it in detail and used the language and description he used. Â I asked him why he had damage to his knees and it was due to all the abuse he put upon them (i.e. wrestling with his brother on hard wood floors when they were young etc.).Â
So I got him to say: Even though I have this pain in my right knee because of all the stupid things I did, I choose to forgive myself and my brother because we were just kids at the time and I deeply and completely accept myself.
He then told me that the doctor had told him that he has no cartilage in the right knee.  So, Even though I have no cartilage in my right knee and that may be causing all the pain I deeply and completely accept myself and forgive myself for all the abuse of my knees, after all I was young and that's what young people do. I choose to let go of this pain, as it's been around long enough.
After the right knee was completely pain free I asked if the left had cleared. It had not, so we did all the same setup phrases for the left knee (except the cartilage one because that was not the case in this knee). This knee cleared very quickly.
I told him to let me know if it comes back as there may be other aspects.  He came to me later that night to tell me something. I  thought the pain had come back but he excitedly told me he had bent down to talk to his daughter and then just stood back up with no pain whatsoever (he couldn't remember ever being able to do that!). I saw him just this past weekend, which is 2 months later and he reports the pain has not returned.
The moral of the story is to get to the emotions that are holding onto the pain. For your friend, he may be angry about the accident or have a disturbing memory of it.  First try just the pain and if it doesn't go completely then do a little exploring and word your set up phrases around that.Â
Cheers, Linda
