Hi Everyone,
Hypnotherapist Baerbel Froehlin successfully combines EFT with hypnosis. Note her comment that taking a deep breath after tapping an EFT point tends to induce trance.

Hi Gary!
Here is a beautiful story about how my client "Sarah" was able to turn around feeling neglected and abandoned into "I know that my dad DID love me."
Sarah had worked with me off and on over some time on the abandonment issues she had with her late father. Being the fifth of six siblings, Sarah grew up with her mom having to take care of the family. Her dad, an alcoholic, left the family when Sarah was still a little girl. She remembered constantly trying to get her dad's attention whenever he visited the family.
The feeling of being not good enough or not important enough had been with her ever since. It was a big obstacle for Sarah as she tried so hard to get a business going, not being able to succeed because that little girl inside was still inconsolable.
In one of my EFT Intensive workshops we ran into the same problem again. Sarah discovered more blocks in becoming successful because she still felt how her dad was pushing her away. This time I used hypnosis as we had tapped a few rounds, and the combination proved to be very successful.
As I always point out, EFT done with deep breathing after each tapping point will automatically induce a trance. It did so easily for Sarah. I gave her a few suggestions about how she experienced her dad picking her up, cradling her in his lap and the overwhelming happiness she felt. We did a few rounds of positive EFT on that experience, to really ingrain and keep that memory in her subconscious mind.
I received this e-mail from her recently, which shows how wonderful the results were for Sarah.
...The experience I had is that I held a memory of my father always pushing me away - never letting me sit on his lap or be close to him. The visualization that we used during EFT was that my Dad picked me up and had me sitting on his lap and lovingly gazing at me. The interesting thing about this has been that I cannot make those original images appear and stay in my head any more. It is as though they have been erased and replaced with the new images. I am not able to sit and focus on the original story anymore - I just remember always my Dad holding me. This was during a session more than 2 and 1/2 years ago. It has been such a beautiful thing for me. I know that my dad DID love me and does still today. Thanks for your efforts in sharing this. I love you, Sarah
I just love using the combination of hypnosis and EFT; it is extremely powerful and the results are lasting.
Love and Peace!
