Letting intuition flow with EFT

Alert: This is one of 3,000 EFT Tapping articles that were written by users like you but before 2010. As such they are outdated and some of the links don't work. Nonetheless, they provide an excellent Peek at the Possibilities and show you the wide reach of even our older methods. See TRAINING for our free and near-free advanced methods.

Hi Everyone,

People watch me on our DVDs as I come up with intuitive approaches and mistakenly conclude that I have some magical intuitive ability. Not so. We all tune in to the same intuitive Source. I am just willing to use it more than most. Note how Jenny Haynes gets herself out of the way and lets guidance appear. She says, "I love how this stuff works when you just let the guidance come in!"

Hugs, Gary

Dear Gary,

I'm a clinical hypnotherapist and EFT Practitioner in Lynchburg, VA.  I emigrated to the US from London, England, a couple of years ago and found out about EFT when I was training in hypnosis. I've been running EFT groups since last summer, getting this wonderful technique out to as many people as possible.  I've had stunning results for myself and others and as I've worked with more people, my intuition has taken off exponentially which has been an entirely unexpected windfall for me and my clients.

Recently I held a 90 minute class for beginners at a local yoga studio.  One of the attendees, Betsy, wanted to work on social anxiety about being in groups.  She described the problem as having always existed - she could never remember a time when she hadn't had this anxiety.  Whenever she had to spend time in a group, she would have nervous, anxious anticipation of it.  Just describing the issue put her intensity at a clear 10 on a scale of 0 to 10.

Five minutes and three rounds of basic EFT later, Betsy's intensity was down to a zero out of 10.  We simply tapped on this social anxiety and remaining social anxiety.  She said she now felt very comfortable in this group so I asked how she would feel in a different group and the intensity shot up again.  So we tapped on feeling relaxed in another group and on the third round of the new setup I went into an intuitive free-fall as follows:

Even though I'm always going to have some social anxiety because I've always been like this, social anxiety is my middle name and I'm stuck with it.  It's a stupid middle name and I'd like to change it and have a different one instead because I deeply and completely accept myself.

The whole group was repeating this after me, using Borrowing Benefits for themselves, and Betsy reported feeling much more comfortable about the prospect of going to another group.  We then talked through tips for tapping if there was return of any intensity at a future date.

I need to tell you that I had absolutely no idea why I should come up the with "middle name" part of the setup until a few minutes later when Betsy told us the following:

"You know, I don't have a middle name and I always thought it was because my parents thought I was too stupid to cope with one because my first name was difficult (Elizabeth)."

I love how this stuff works when you just let the guidance come in!

Betsy's feedback was that she felt perfectly happy at the next group event she attended (a meditation group held the following day).  It was a regular meeting but this was the first time she'd felt comfortable before going into it.  Thanks again Gary for this stunning technique.

Yours from the ground floor of this new Healing High Rise,

Jenny Haynes, C.Ht, EFT-ADV, Reiki Master
