Hi Everyone,
The ability to use EFT over the phone is an immense plus. We have touched on this a bit, but very few are actually doing it. Here are some of its advantages:
1. Once mastered, it is a highly efficient method. The client can call you right when the problem (traumatic memory, phobia, anxiety, panic attack, compulsion, addictive craving, etc.) is happening. This is ideal because the problem, and its aspects, are front and center and can be dealt with on the spot. The alternative is to wait until their appointment next Wednesday when it is no longer so ripe for treatment.
2. You can have clients from all over the world. You are no longer limited to just your city and surrounding communities. I have participated in many healings over the phone. Listen to the EFT audiotaped interview with Bonnie on Side 3A. She had depression, many traumas, phobias and other issues all relieved over the phone and I have never met her face to face. She is on the East Coast and I am on the West Coast. Also, listen to the session about Del's height phobia on audiotape Side 1A. He was on the roof in San Diego, CA (with a cell phone) while I was at home 600 miles away.
3. It is less expensive and more convenient for the client. They don't have to take off work or get a baby sitter or drive for an hour or so (round trip) to see you.
4. You can bill them rather efficiently via credit cards, 900 numbers, etc.
All is not perfect with phone work, however. You will still have the apex problem with some of them and others will still want the connection available with one-on-one meetings. Further, unless you set rules to the contrary, you may get telephone calls at inconvenient hours. Nonetheless, there is sufficient advantage to using EFT over the phone to at least consider it as part of your practice.
Also, the client needs to know where to tap when you give your phone instructions. You can instruct them beforehand in person-to-person sessions as indicated in the letter below or you can send them a sheet illustrating the tapping points.
With these thoughts in mind, here is a recent letter from someone already using EFT on the phone.

LETTER: "I usually work with the person in person for one to three sessions. When they get the hang of what to do I make a phone appointment with them. I call them and bill for the long distance costs.
When I call, I ask how their week has gone. We work on what has been bothering them during the week. The three I have going right now are two motor vehicle accidents and one compulsive disorder. I have had challenges with these people being able to create the feelings in their mind when they are in my office so I am going to see if I do shorter sessions closer together (when things are fresher) if that will work better.
I have worked with one person on the phone and it worked great. Can't see why the rest would be any different.
