Hi Everyone,
Sometimes we feel pressured in social or work situations and EFT can often bring us back to center rapidly. Nancy Privett gives us a live example of this and says, "Everyone who knows even the EFT basics has the ability to tap and come back into balance when a practitioner is not available."

Dear Gary,
One of the things that I love about using EFT in my practice is that, once I teach it to my clients, they walk out of the door at the end of the session with a powerful tool to use at any time on their own. I recently received an email from a former client that illustrates this.
Paul, age 57, had had several private EFT sessions with me in the past, and had also attended a day-long EFT workshop I taught this year. He now uses EFT on a regular basis and emailed me to tell me about “a very powerful experience with tapping.”
Paul has a hearing problem, and he was having a lot of repair work and landscaping done at his house. He had to manage the landscaper and his crew of six, as well as the repairmen, and make sure everything went smoothly. At one point, while speaking with the foreman of the landscaping crew, another truck of service people pulled up. Paul didn’t recognize them and was having trouble hearing, and suddenly began feeling extremely anxious and not in control. He knew something “unconscious” was going on that was making him feel very insecure. He became flushed and embarrassed and needed to go inside the house to deal with his anxiety. He immediately began tapping.
Even though I feel completely out of control…
Even though I feel totally unconscious and without power…
Even though I feel embarrassed that I did not know what was going on around me and couldn’t hear clearly…
Even though I feel overwhelmed by two sets of workmen and their conflicting energy…
Even though I don’t feel like the boss and I need to take control…
As Paul tapped, he realized that the feelings he was experiencing were the same feelings that he always felt at school or on social occasions when his hearing loss made him feel powerless and he would “shut down and go unconscious.” Paul continued tapping:
Even though I can’t hear and that makes me feel helpless…
He was very persistent, tapping for an hour until he felt himself come back into balance. He was then able to go back outside and interact smoothly and confidently with all the workman to make sure that everything was flowing harmoniously. The experience was, he wrote, “an example of the use of tapping in a crisis situation where I was forced to be in charge and make things come out smoothly.”
Paul also felt that he had clearly identified the problems around the key issue of his hearing disability. He intends to continue tapping to clear the issue more and more.
Paul’s story is an example of how empowering it can be to learn how to use EFT. Everyone who knows even the EFT basics has the ability to tap and come back into balance when a practitioner is not available.
