Hi Everyone,
Sometimes we can use EFT on one or two core issues and the result generalizes over related problems. It is a delightful outcome and is well illustrated in this example by Z. H. Galina.

Hi Gary,
I hope I'm not being presumtuous by emailing some of the details of this case but I think it again exemplifies the generalization effect of EFT.
I recently worked with a 45 year old woman who had a very intense fear of flying and had never flown in her life. She had given up on ever being able to take a vacaion to an exotic place and was pretty sure that I wouldn't be able to help her either.
However, I said that she should pay only if we were successful. She agreed and I used a "future movie" technique and had her begin from the general. I closely looked at her facial expressions and body language and got ever more specific as her body "shouted" at me when to stop and have her tap.
We tapped for everthing she or I could think of related to flying (lack of control, turbulence, nausea, what it would mean to her self-image if she could fly,,,). She said she felt better and had no anxiety but that since we weren't actually on a plane that she wasn't sure it had really changed anything.
So I tested as best as I could and she simply could not get any anxiety about flying in my office. She was leaving the next day so I could have her go to the airport to test. I gave her a list of the tapping points and asked her to tap when needed. Here's the amazing part. I got a call a week later when she returned from her vacation and this is what she said: "I don't know what you did but I even fell asleep on the plane and took a window seat. No worries. AND I WENT SCUBA DIVING, SWAM WITH THE DOLPHINS, AND DID SOME KITE GLIDING. I don't know what you did but I've never been able to even think about myself doing those things. Thank-you. Thank-you. Thank-you!" What a great generalization effect. Getting rid of the fear of flying seems to have also gotten rid of her general fear of living life to the fullest. Thank you Gary for sharing your "stuff"
