A short woman no longer feels intimidated around tall people after one EFT session

Hi Everyone,

Rod Sherwin from Australia shows us how to use EFT for limiting beliefs about ourselves. While this one has to do with "being short," the same idea can apply to many such personal beliefs.

'Jan' came to see me for many issues in her life, one of which was being short.  Jan's height was somewhere under 5 feet as an adult.  In school she was all the littlest kid in her class.  As an adult she felt intimidated by the taller people around her.

After a few rounds of clearing specific events from her childhood and being intimidated by tall people, Jan shared that she “had never really felt like an adult because she wasn't grown up”.  After a few rounds of tapping on:

Even though I don't feel like an adult because I'm not as tall as everyone else…

Even though I don't feel grown up because I'm short…, she exclaimed, “Adults come in all sizes!”  There’s another example of those beautiful cognitive (belief) shifts that appear so effortlessly with EFT.

Given my own height of over 6 feet, I stood up at the end of our session to test the shift.  She was comfortable and said she no longer felt the intimidation that she had experienced often when in the presence of tall people.

What are some beliefs you have about your self because of your physical size?  EFT is waiting to help.
