Dear Gary,

Oh, what a joy it is to think of all of the practitioners around the world…tapping in love and peace, dissolving fear.  What a gift and an honor to be a part of this revolutionary program.

Like many others, I am committed to doing what I can to facilitate the spread of high caliber EFT by supporting Practitioners.  For the past year and a half, I have conducted a Coaching and Mentoring program.  We accept newbies that are only months into EFT and we have some amazingly gifted advanced students as well.

As this program has evolved, I have come to realize that one of the biggest challenges they all face is lack of knowledge about how to build a bridge between who they are and what they have experienced in life and translating all of that into a “business” with EFT.  Many have no knowledge of business beyond having been an employee.  We believe every practitioner deserves the business training skills we offer them.  Not all will be a success simply because not all are ultimately meant to do EFT.  By meeting them where they are, we save them time, money and stress because they know within a few months if they are really cut out to do this.

The lack of business knowledge is compounded by some common fears.  There is a general fear of the unknown.  There are also specific fears such as- “How can I charge money for my time and talents?”  And- “I don’t want to be a salesman”- they only think of selling as a shady way of manipulating people to give them their money.   With that image, no wonder they don’t speak up about their “product” EFT!  Or some combination of fears like: “I love EFT, I cannot imagine making money doing this”.  Sometimes that one dissolves just by tapping on all the writings on their walls that say they cannot have LOVE and MONEY!  

In our very first Coaching module in 2007 we addressed these fears head on in the first two classes: How to Sell the Invisible: Marketing Your Service in a Product Marketing Society.  And Accepting Something for Nothing: Receiving Money For Your Time and Talents.  My students have made huge strides in building their businesses by clearing these demons right up front.

We are now into our Coaching Module C and we did a lot of tapping on even MORE of those fears.  Just to paint you a picture, this is a tele-class of about 20 practitioners some “newbies” and some more advanced. They are calling in from Canada, Hawaii and the UK as well as all around the US.  This is a great picture that proves “Fear is literally global”. We all feel it and it can paralyze us if we do not address it.  My objective is always to address these tapping portions very globally.  We all know that the specifics will “pop-up” automatically.

Knowing these are practitioners creates a special dynamic in these calls. They are free to tap individually for the specific incidents that that do “pop-up” right then during the call or later alone or with the mp3 recording that they all receive as part of the program.  I try to encapsulate as many of the fearful thoughts and feelings as I can imagine just to get them started.  Then they are “off and rolling” and they can then chunk the phrases down to their “specific incidents and movie titles”

The feedback was so positive that I wanted to share the tapping script with all of the wonderful practitioners on your list.

I always, always stress to my practitioners the need to learn how to follow your wise counsel and “get themselves out of the way”.  This can only happen if they address the little niggling thoughts that point to “them” as the solution.  It is essential in my book that in order to build true rapport, we have to get the focus off of “us” the practitioner and totally “on them” the client. 

Here are some of the phrases that came through for us that day.

  1. Even though I may be afraid of my clients because I don’t know what they want from me

  2. I recognize that I have nothing to “give” them.

  3. I’m going to get out of the way and all my training and my intuition and my wisdom will come through me effortlessly and then it’s between the client and their Higher Source. 

  4. I’m just the vehicle, the instrument; that’s easy.

  5. Even though sometimes I get self conscious and close off to my clients

  6. If I’m self conscious, that’s a little selfish.  That means I’m putting the attention on me, not my client. 

  7. I want my heart and my mind to be open. 

  8. I want my client to know that it is safe to be with me, even if I don’t know what to do. 

  9. I’m there willingly, wanting to be helpful, getting out of the way so that what Higher Source knows about the client’s needs can just come through me effortlessly.

  10. As I open my spirit and my mind, I see the Higher Source energy going through me and healing my hurt.

  11. I can be healed as Spirit helps heal through me.

  12. Releasing the fear that has closed my heart.

  13. My willingness to show up is all I need to bring with me.

  14. All I need to do is show up for my clients with an open heart.

  15. I can trust spirit to do the work.

  16. Everything will work out just fine.

  17. Releasing the blocks to being open in my heart and my mind.

  18. Opening my heart I am safe.

The tension and anxieties melted and everyone was sighing and giggling.  It is such fun.  Then we worked on blocks and fears to creating a profitable business with EFT.

  1. Even though I’m having trouble imagining making the money I want, I see how many people are making really good money doing EFT. 

  2. There are going to be more and more clients waiting for practitioners.  I am in the perfect place at the perfect time.

  3. Even though I know this is going to push my comfort zone, my growing is important as well.

  4. I have every right to believe I can do this and do it well and that I can be comfortable in my living doing this.

  5. Releasing any resistance to having success.

  6. Recognizing that clients are waiting now.

  7. They don’t even know what I can do for them yet.

  8. It’s my job to help them understand what I can do for them.

  9. I’m going to learn a lot of different ways to meet them where they are.

  10. I can start right where I am.

  11. I might be surprised by how many people are waiting for me already.

  12. As I shift my focus to activities that I know will build my business, it will get easier and easier.

  13. Before long the money will flow freely and these thoughts about enough will not have room in my mind.

  14. It is getting easier now to work with my clients right where they are.

  15. My clients have such great benefits from our work that they will tell everyone they know.

  16. And then I get to do what I want to do with my practice.

  17. Maybe I’ll work a 3 day week.

  18. Maybe I’ll teach from the beach.

  19. I’ll publish some books and other products.

  20. Everybody loves information and healing.

  21. They’re waiting for me.

  22. What am I waiting for?

  23. I don’t need to wait any more.

  24. Today I’m going to decide if I’m in or I’m out.

  25. If I’m in, I’m going to let Spirit lead me to know what I need to do next.
