Hi Everyone,
Here is clear evidence from Gillian Tarawhiti of Australia that emotional issues can be the cause of physical problems. She says, "...she remembered that her abuser would whisper to her in her right ear before the act started and since that time has had chronic ear infections. The infections shows up when anything that triggers that emotion came up." Show this one to your physician because s/he may find this evidence helpful.

Hi Gary,
I wanted to relay a session I had with a client that had been referred. She came to me complaining of chronic ear infections that she has had over the previous 8 years. She has seen doctors and specialists who say it's just a common problem and give the normal antibiotics that have temporarily cleared the infections. However Gabby (not her real name) was fed up with the continual ear problems that plagued her home life, her work life and socialising.
This past year Gabby decided she'd stop taking antibiotics so she could clean out her system but reverted back once the pain became too unbearable for her. The day I saw her she had an ear infection...so we tapped.
Even though I have this pain in my ear, I forgive myself for anything I may have done to contribute to it. The pain in her ear went from a level of intensity of 9 on a scale of 0 to 10 to a 0 out of 10. Gabby was GOBSMACKED and I was amazed that the pain had gone in one tapping session. I had never gotten that result so fast for physical pain before.
We talked about the Setup phrase and Gabby explained that she felt a lot of emotion when she said... "I forgive myself for anything I may have done to contribute to it." I asked her to explain what she meant and she went on to say that she had actually had the 'Ear Problem' a lot longer than 8 years, she had actually had it since she was 3 years old. She began to be very specific about the past. But when she said it started when she was 3, then cried and didn't want to talk anymore. So I tapped her for...
Even though this thing happened to me when I was 3, I deeply and completely accept myself, it wasn't my fault and I forgive myself for anything I may have done to contribute to it.Â
We did this 3 times, one after the other, and then Gabby wanted to tell me her story. I explained to her that she didn't need to tell me but she wanted to - she explained she had not told this story to anyone - not anyone in her entire life.
I got Gabby to do the Movie Technique to avoid intensity for herself. She called the movie "When I was Just 3". When Gabby was 3 she was sexually abused by a family member, she remembered that her abuser would whisper to her in her right ear before the act started and since that time has had chronic ear infections. The infections shows up when anything that triggers that emotion came up. With every telling of the story, we tapped on the intense spots. Gabby eventually was able to tell the story right through with no emotions. I requested that she come back to see me the following day, which she did.
Gabby said she had, had the best sleep ever. Said the pain in her ear did not return and she felt calmer and more relaxed. Twelve weeks later I phoned Gabby to see how she was getting on and she said she had not had an ear infection since we met. She's enjoying her life immensely, she's now doing a job she loves and wants to do the next EFT workshop so she can learn it for herself. She joined a sexual abuse support group and told them all about EFT and how it helped her.
