Don't Go Where You Don't Belong

This one should be obvious, but it needs to be said.

It is tempting to witness the many benefits of our process, particularly the health and emotional ones, and conclude that we can apply it to everyone for everything. While there may be some truth to that, it is also true that a small percentage of our population (perhaps 3% to 4% - my estimate) have such emotional frailty that they should not attempt ANY healing method without the presence of a skilled doctor or other qualified professional.

In addition, there are people with severe trauma (e.g. PTSD) from war activities or childhood and/or sexual abuse or psychotic issues such as Schizophrenia or Multiple Personalities (aka DID) that may require professionals with advanced training or degrees to resolve their issues. In my experience, EFT or OEFT doesn't cause these problems. Rather, they can open the door for them to show up from previously repressed psychological hiding places. This can present real problems for both you and the client.

So, when in doubt...

Don't Go Where You Don't Belong.

e-hugs, Gary
