Hi Gary,

I am a newbie with EFT.  When I found your site about 5 months ago I was intrigued.  Even though I am a nurse who has worked with craniosacral therapy as well as therapeutic touch, I maintain a healthy skepticism when investigating new therapies.  For me the proof is in "Does it work?”

I am no longer a skeptic.  I have used EFT to stop biting my fingernails, overcome my fear of heights and roller coaster as well as addressed some heavy duty emotional issues from my divorce.  And I can't forget the fear of failure and fear of success!  I have always seemed to get in my own way where it comes to succeeding.

I receive your newsletter and am so encouraged by those that share, I decided it was time I gave back a little bit by sharing with you my fear of roller coasters experience.  For more than 25 years, I have found myself in a state of panic anytime I thought about going on a roller coaster.  When my family and a friend talked about going to a theme park, I stated that I would stay home with my twin granddaughters who were also afraid of roller coasters.

Along came EFT.  I had used it to stop biting my nails - could it help with this panic and fear? After tapping on my fear I found I was actually looking forward to the trip to the theme park.  I am still amazed that I rode the scariest roller coaster first.  It went in loops!

Next I helped my granddaughters tap on their fears.  Phrases we used to tap with were: Even though I am afraid of heights....

Even though I am afraid of flying off the tracks...

Even though I am scared to ride this roller coaster...

The first roller coaster got stuck just before it crested the first high point!  We sat there for half an hour waiting for them to fix it.  My granddaughters and I tapped on our fears (fear of flying out of this car, fear of falling, fear of heights) and ended up laughing about it all.  In the end, we had to climb out of the roller coaster car and walk down on the steep steps.  We still were able to go on more rides, continuing to tap occasionally as we needed to for fears that came up.

Later one of the twins who is 9 years old jumped off a roller coasters laughing and shouted, "Grandma that was great!  Thank you for the tapping!"  I find it very interesting that her identical twin felt the tapping was foolish and did not tap so much.  She remained too afraid to ride that roller coaster.

We've not been on roller coasters again to see if this fear stayed away - but I now have fingernails for the first time in 40 years and I am much more creative and excited about life now.  That may all sound vague, but in real life, it is most exciting!

I have all of your DVDs and I am excitedly watching them.  As a nurse who is very disillusioned with the disease medical model of health care, I am hoping to be on my way to a new way of helping people!

Oh, this maybe should go in a separate email but am too excited to wait.  I work in a busy emergency room.  One night I had a patient who had very high blood pressure at 219/199 - 120/80 is normal blood pressure.  His personal doctor was on the way to see him but was stuck in traffic. This was one of those doctors who doesn’t allow you to do anything until they see their patient.

Reaching into my bag of holistic tricks, I pulled out EFT.  I coached the patient to tap himself and after only two rounds of the shortcut, his blood pressure dropped to 198/109!  I didn't have time to do more tapping with the patient but that held him until his doctor got there.  On discharging many a patient I have given out your website address!

Thank you Gary for sharing so freely,

a hug to you,

Bobbi
