One ERASES the negative baggage that we all carry around while the other REPLACES that baggage with glorious new vistas that may seem out of reach... at least for now. Everything is designed for you to absorb at your own pace and digest at whatever level you choose... from a useful idea or two to the complete overhaul of your very being.


Website #1: You are currently on this Website #1, www.palaceofpossibilities.com. It is focused on developing the positive within you and is loaded with unique ideas that allow a sparkly new you to emerge. It contains mostly questions from you and my detailed answers, including, where useful, references to website #2 (see below). All the content on this Website #1 is FREE. I don't need your money. I was born in 1940 and have done well financially. And so, in my later years, my reward (joy) is sharing this with you. I can't wait to hear of your progress.

Website #2: This is my original website, www.emofree.com, established in 1995. It has revolutionized the therapy/health field and is focused on eliminating negative emotional baggage that often causes diseases and interferes with the positives mentioned above. It offers a stunning set of tools to eliminate the negative thoughts that contribute to just about any human ailment or block you can name. Most of the content here is FREE. Advanced Training & Certification, however, must carry a fee because of its voluminous detail and the dedication of time by my training staff. This advanced training is for High-Level dedicated students and is NOT REQUIRED. You can go a looonnnngggg way with the free stuff.


For those already familiar with Website #2: Please know that we are not changing EFT, OEFT or The Unseen Therapist. They are simply being enhanced by Website #1 (The Palace of Possibilities).

If You Are Looking For Convention,

You Came To The Wrong Place.


ERASE & REPLACE: In these pages I will whisk you away on a magic carpet ride through your own Palace of Possibilities. We will REPLACE the negative "limits" you have collected over the years with a sparkly new you. In many cases, we will need to ERASE the hand-me-down "limits" you have been given before we can properly REPLACE them. A lot of innovation involved here. You'll see. ERASE & REPLACE, ERASE & REPLACE. That will be our mantra. Fun... invigorating... glorious. I have done this repeatedly over the years and here are a few of my results:

  • Had the best High School football record in the entire state of California in 1957 at age 17.

  • Was offered 22 scholarships to the finest universities in the USA. I chose Stanford.

  • Lost 30 pounds in the 1960s without will power (from 190 pounds to 160 pounds.

  • Raised my income in the 1960's from $18,000 per year to $400,000 per year.

  • Wrote a book... The EFT Manual... on Health & Emotions that offered great innovations in the health field. It was downloaded several million times and voluntarily translated into 20+ languages. That book has since been discontinued and replaced by this material, although others have written a book by the same name. Over 1,000 books are on Amazon.com using versions of my original EFT. You are getting the true updated version here.

So beware... new freedoms ahead. Smiles.


We live in a Palace of Possibilities: It is an ever expanding structure, filled with awesome rooms that are loaded with achievements and joy. These rooms are open to everyone, although most of us only visit a few of them. It's not that we are barred from any of the rooms. Rather, it's that we choose to dwell only in those rooms within which we are comfortable.


Somehow, we don't "belong" in those other, more elegant rooms. They are for others. They are for richer people and more privileged people and people with more talent than us.

The Writing On Our Walls: We tend to stay within the familiar (our comfort zones) and don't venture beyond the walls (limits) of the rooms we have chosen. Why? Because our cans and can'ts are written on those walls and we obey those dictates as though they were real. They are reflected in our health, our careers, our incomes, our performances, our relationships, and throughout our self image. In fact, there is scarcely any part of our makeup that is not affected by what's written on those walls.


And, together, we can change it all so a sparkly new you can emerge.


The words on our walls are metaphors for our self talk, of course. They represent the attitudes, opinions & beliefs that we have accumulated over the years. Many of them are tired hand-me-downs from our parents, grandparents, teachers, coaches, religion, peers, books, TV and an endless list of other "authorities" in our lives. Upon inspection many of them are laughable. They ignore our Wondrous Wisdom Within and seem to pinch our progress.


I have helped countless people ERASE those old writings (limits) and REPLACE them with new thinking that propels them along profound new pathways. Better health. Emotional freedom. More abundance. Prolific performance. You have far more within you and it's about to show up.

Why Do We Have Different Limits?: We all have different words on our walls. That's why we appear to have different limits. Your limits seem different from mine because the "truths" written on your walls are different from the "truths" written on mine. However, they are not really "truths" at all. They are just the guidelines we have adopted for getting through life … AND … many of them are fictions. They are hand-me-down beliefs that were written on our walls by others and we have been dutifully obeying them ever since.


This need not be.


Below is an entertaining video wherein I expand on this important point with a live audience. Please note my unconventional dress. That is on purpose. I am violating convention.


Foundational Concept: This brings me to a foundational concept. Its truth is undeniable, yet it is so subtle that we tend to ignore it. Here it is…


We Constantly Consult

The Writing On Our Walls.

Our Most Prominent Advisor: That writing is our most prominent advisor and we consult it all day long. It contains every experience we have ever had. In addition to the limits already mentioned, it contains all of our "how to's" and our sense of fair play. It contains our version of proper behavior as well as what is right or wrong in this world. It contains our judgments, our successes and our failures. It's all there … everything we hold to be true (even if it isn't)… written on our walls.


For example, we eat soup with a spoon instead of a fork because our knowledge base (the Writing On Our Walls) advises us to do so. This is subtle, I know, but it's as if we ask the question, "How do I eat this soup?" and the Writing On Our walls says, "Use a spoon." This is why we wear jeans on some occasions and black tie or evening gowns on others. We constantly consult the Writing On Our Walls for what to do because…


Those Words Represent The "Truth"

As We Have Learned It.


We consult those walls for just about everything. Those words tell us about our opportunities as well as our limits … and often they conflict with each other. On the subject of finances, for example, they may tell us, "Here's an opportunity... go for it." But they may also tell us....


"You are too young (or too old) for that."

"You don't have enough education."

"You are a woman and are limited by the glass ceiling."

"You are a minority."

"People who take risks end up broke."

"Getting ahead depends on who you know."

"Rich people are dishonest."

This fictional list of limits goes on indefinitely, of course. Are any of them (or other fictions) written on your walls? If you believe any of them … or if any of them ring true… I suggest that you have bought into an expensive "limit" that need not be there.

A Sparkly New You: Since we constantly consult the Writing On Our Walls and since those writings represent our "limits," it follows that the path to expanded possibilities is to change that writing. Thus...


Different writing = different "limits."


Simple.


Although we can change ALL the writing for a sparkly new you, it is best to focus at first on those writings that are most consistently in your way. Those are the writings that you visit most often and tend to dominate your reality by dictating those "limits" you wish to change. In a few words, then, let's tattoo (figuratively speaking) these words inside your eyelids so that you see them every time you blink…


My Consistent Thoughts (Writings)

Become My Reality


This mantra will become your guiding light as you learn to glide more freely through The Palace of Possibilities. It is your pathway to progress. I will unfold the easy way to use it a bit later.


But first…


A Lesson From "Ned" - The Ultimate Pessimist: A good example of the above mantra is "Ned," (not his real name) a neighbor of mine. Ned is the ultimate pessimist and is quite proud of it. His conversation consistently reflects his ever-present pessimism which, in turn, manifests many problems in his reality. By contrast, I am quite optimistic. In the eyes of some (especially Ned), I would give major competition to Pollyanna. I am forever looking for opportunity and, interestingly enough, I seem to find it. Ned also seems to find what he is looking for (problems). He rarely finds opportunity. We see the world quite differently, yet we are both looking at the same world. Our different consistent thoughts become our different realities.


Many years ago, Ned and I were in conversation about the movie "Rocky." I thought the movie was exhilarating. To me, it was all about how a "has-been" boxer could pull himself up by his bootstraps and fight the heavyweight champion of the world. It was exciting. It was a glorious example of the power of the human spirit. However, when I asked Ned about his opinion of the movie he said, "It was about two bums beating each other up."


Even though the movie was identical for both of us … exactly the same words, pictures, music, etc. … we had diametrically opposite reactions. How could this be? The only difference, of course, was what we brought to the movie. It was our filter (our consistent thoughts) through which we perceived the events and gave them meaning (our reality). That movie, like life, was the outer projection of an inner state. Our experience of it was strictly an "inside job." We see life as a projection/reflection of our mindset. Our consistent thoughts become our reality.


Again, we are constantly consulting the writing on our walls. We do it all day long and the most prominently written words on our walls become our consistent thoughts (and thus our reality). We would, of course, all like to have a better reality. We would prefer to have more emotional freedom … to be more spiritually evolved … to be better physically and financially… to live in the more expansive annexes of our personal Palace of Possibilities. It follows then, that the way to achieve a better reality is to change our consistent thoughts because changing our consistent thoughts automatically changes our reality. Doing so brings great joy and fulfillment. This is my gift to you.

How to ERASE & REPLACE the Writing on Our Walls

(Two Methods)


Since our consistent thoughts become our reality, we must now explore how we can ERASE our existing, limiting thoughts and REPLACE them with the expansive new ones that will form the sparkly new you. There are two ways to do this. Both can work well independently but together they can be magical.


Method #1 to ERASE and REPLACE: This one is common sense; simply condition your thoughts by repeated affirmations and/or imaginations about the sparkly new you.


This fits beautifully within our Palace of Possibilities ideas because the repetition of these thoughts can override your existing "limits" with new consistent thoughts. Over time, of course, this overriding does the ERASING while the new consistent thought automatically REPLACES the old (fading) one. Thus, your new reality emerges.


I use both affirmations and imagination but since some people have difficulty with imagination, I will focus more on affirmations in this Intro. I will, however, also discuss imagination in many of the specific articles that populate this Palace of Possibilities website.


How To Form Proper Affirmations/imaginations: Here are the guidelines for best results…

  • It should be stated/imagined in the present tense… as though it is happening now, not sometime in the future. Thus an affirmation/imagination like, "I now weigh X" is much better than, "I will weigh X."

  • It should be repeated at least once per hour. The more often the better. Best to develop habits for this to trigger your newly conditioned thought. For example: every time you sit down in a chair, walk into another room, eat, drink, turn left or right, switch channels on the TV… and so on. You can also add a timer (such as on a smartphone app) that provides an alarm trigger every 30 to 60 minutes. Spend some quality "really getting into it" at bedtime, when arising, or when free moments occur during your day.

  • It must be a WANT and not a SHOULD. If you truly WANT this… great. But if you are pursuing it because your brother thinks you SHOULD then your motivation is not fully in place and your results may fall short.

  • It must be BELIEVABLE TO YOU. If you are affirming/imagining, "I earn, easily and consistently, ten million dollars a minute," that may be so far out of your belief system that your system will consider it "impossible" and the whole effort will go nowhere (because the tail-enders will dominate). Best to start with something that your belief system considers doable like, "I earn, easily and consistently, [20% more than I currently earn]. Once you achieve that, another 20% becomes more doable. And so it goes.

  • Finally, it is best to start specific so you can build successes along the way. An affirmation/imagination like, "I win every golf tournament in sight" may be too broad and too early. But "My drives are free flowing and done with ease" are much more achievable for now.

Missing puzzle piece

The Missing Piece: Some readers may recognize echoes of the Law of Attraction within our Palace of Possibilities. This would be true. The idea of manifesting new levels within your life by thinking differently is a centuries old concept. However, many people have failed in these efforts because there is often a MISSING PIECE within the method… namely… the new thought can have competitive thoughts (I call them "tail-enders"). When present, they must be dealt with (see below). Otherwise, this magnificent, common sense process will likely fail.


A Weight Example: Here's an example of what I mean. Let's say a 200 pound woman chooses to use an affirmation/imagination aimed at weighing 130. She might approach it something like this...

"My normal weight is 130 pounds and that's what I weigh."

The logic here is that if she keeps repeating that thought she will perform a form of mental conditioning and thus ERASE and REPLACE her former view of herself. As a result, she will begin to see herself differently and will naturally adjust her food intake and exercise habits to permanently achieve this new weight level. Properly done, there would be no will power involved. Her life habits would simply evolve to reflect someone who behaved as a 130 pound woman.

I know this can work because I did it myself. In my late twenties, I lost 30 pounds (from 190) by consistently repeating an affirmation that said... "My normal weight is 160 pounds and that's what I weigh." Within 6 months, and without a formal diet or will power, I reached 160 and had all my clothes taken in. My weight today is 163. It is inconceivable to me that I would weigh 190 again. My vision of myself as a 160 pound person is part of those "consistent thoughts that have become my reality."

I also used an affirmation to stairstep my income in the 1960's from $18,000 per year to over $400,000. Again, no will power was involved. Nor did I work longer hours. I was a life insurance salesman and began calling on wealthier clients who I previously perceived as "bigger than me." They bought larger policies. Simple as that.

Again, Affirmations/Imaginations May Have Competition - The Tail Enders: But many people don't have my experience. Why? Because the affirmation they are stating is not the "true" affirmation. You see, the desired thought often has competition within the person's system. As indicated above, that competing thought gets tagged on at the tail end of the desired one in a subtle, yet powerful, way and becomes the "true" affirmation. For example, our 200 pound woman who says, "My normal weight is 130 pounds and that's what I weigh" may have one or more "tail enders" show up at the end of her desired thought. They might go like this...

  • "But if I lose weight, others will expect me to keep it off."

  • "But if I lose weight, I will have to spend a lot of money for new clothes."

  • "But if I lose weight, men will hit on me and expect sex."

  • "But if I lose weight, men won't hit on me and then I will know I'm not loveable.

  • "But if I lose weight, I will have to give up my favorite foods."


This list of tail enders is endless. These are just examples. They are not spoken or articulated, of course, but are subtle (and powerful) reflections of the existing obstacles for losing weight. Can they be eventually overridden by the persistent use of the new conditioned thought?

Yes.

However, it's a rare person who will keep up this persistence when dominant tail-enders are present. Why? Because first, they are not seeing any immediate results and, second, they feel uncomfortable with the emotional discord that goes on between the desired thought and the competing tail enders. They often conclude that they are lying to themselves and just give up.

There remains, however, no question that properly installed affirmations work very powerfully. The only trick here is to make sure that the desired thought that you really want is the true affirmation/imagination (and not a tail-ender). You will see this play out in the many articles and examples contained in this Palace of Possibilities website.


Method #2 to ERASE and REPLACE: Within this second method you have two options, namely:


  1. Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT)

  2. Optimal EFT (OEFT)


I designed these processes beginning in 1995 and they have since revolutionized our conventional therapy procedures. They are in use by millions of people worldwide and versions of them are contained in over 1,000 books on Amazon. Properly done, what used to take weeks, months or years to ERASE negative thinking can now often be done in minutes, hours or sessions (depending on the complexity).


And ANYONE CAN LEARN TO DO THEM. The only requirements are that (1) you can read the instructions and (2) you practice them. That's it. About 50% of our students are health professionals. The other 50% are self-helpers with no formal health training whatsoever.

They are a perfect companion to the Palace of Possibilities which, together, can ERASE and REPLACE even your most stubborn "limits" so that the sparkly new you can emerge naturally.


They work differently than Method #1 in that they don't install anything. Rather, they are superb tools for ERASING the negative so that the sparkly new you naturally bubbles up from within and REPLACES your previous consistent thoughts.

Performance: I know many athletes and performers of every kind. In fact, I am one of them and have used these methods to be offered full football scholarships to 22 different major universities... even though I only weighed 165 pounds (75 kg). I chose Stanford.


These methods apply to golfers, tennis players, all sports, singers, entertainers, speakers, salespeople etc. And all of them will tell you (even professionals and Olympic record holders) that they have even higher potential within. However, they will also tell you that that extra level is mental. "It is in my head," they will say.

Inspiration: I am an avid student of A Course In Miracles (ACIM), an astounding set of revelations that, in my opinion, is the most exquisite literature ever created. It is, however, challenging reading and is not for everyone.


It is largely non-denominational and is loaded with stunning, thought provoking ideas that are likely to appeal to just about everyone. I will expand on these from time to time to augment the other topics. They are optional, of course, and not required.
