How to remember your dreams with EFT

Alert: This is one of 3,000 EFT Tapping articles that were written by users like you but before 2010. As such they are outdated and some of the links don't work. Hi Everyone,

Here is a unique use of EFT that properly echoes our "Try EFT on Everything" motto. A thank you to Eros Biasiolo from Italy for submitting it. Note: the original problem was that Eros's client didn't think he could dream at all.

Hugs, Gary

Hi Gary,

I am working with EFT on a number of cases, with (obviously!) impressive results - many one-minute wonders as well as some that take multiple session sessions.  My approach is very much like me - playful and tactile I would say, despite the seriousness of some cases.

I have one that is peculiar and can be an inspiration to anyone.  People tell me about their problems very easily and I was positively struck by this man in his late fifties who came up with this request: “I want to remember my dreams.”

Now, I wish I could have seen my face when I was asked this, and then I said with a lot of confidence, “OK, let’s do it.”  After a brief investigation, he told me that when he was 13 or so, he used to speak while sleeping and he shared the room with his older brother.  He admits having CHOSEN not to dream from then on, so as not to have to argue with his brother who was always pulling his leg for this reason.

So, in my usual playful manner I said to the man in his fifties, “Are you ready for a time warp into the past to reverse that choice you made?”  He excitingly said “yes,” probably believing in some sort of time travel, and so we started tapping on:  Even though I made this choice of not dreaming any more...

We did a few rounds in mixed and creative order, and with the use of reframing, or quoting his brother's sentences, and then we implemented the popular Dr. Carrington Choices Method ... Saying I absolutely don’t care about the choice I made then, because I CHOOSE NOW to dream again and remember my dreams...

When we were finished, it was nearly bedtime, so I said to him, “You let me know tomorrow morning ok?”  It was a funny thing, because this session took place during a two-day workshop in front of many others.

The following morning upon opening the day I asked him about his night and the dreams he had. He dreamt about his daughter and he told the dream in detail in front of all attendees, to their surprise.

I still hear from him on the telephone and he is still very excited when he thanks me because he now dreams as he says, “Even when I take a brief afternoon nap!”

Peace and Joy,

Eros Biasiolo
