K was left for dead after a Serial Killer's Attack -- EFT cleans up the traumatic aftermath

Alert: This is one of 3,000 EFT Tapping articles that were written by users like you but before 2010. As such they are outdated and some of the links don't work. Nonetheless, they provide an excellent Peek at the Possibilities and show you the wide reach of even our older methods. See TRAINING for our free and near-free advanced methods.

Hi Everyone,

After this attack, Maryanne Lane's client was the subject of some difficult media publicity and, as a result, wishes to remain anonymous. We shall call her K. This is one of those mega-severe cases that should be brought to the attention of everyone in the healing field. Please consult physicians on all medical issues.

Hugs, Gary

To begin, here is a statement from my client, K.

"I was a victim of a knife attack and was left for dead. I survived with physical problems and emotional problems. I had a couple sessions of EFT and have had significant relief in the pain. Everything has not gone away completely, but when I have pain, I can tap and feel better again. I can get rid of headaches easily with tapping. My dreams are not nightmares anymore. I have woken up to anxiety attacks in the night and have tapped to calm myself down and go back to sleep. Before I would be awake for at least an hour if not hours. I recommend trying EFT to get relief from any kind of pain."

It was a horrendous unprovoked knife attack many years ago by a serial killer. A big knife plunged through K's back puncturing a lung and barely missing her heart, once K was on the ground he continued his assault. How she survived where others had not is an amazing testament to her strength. The American Media jumped on the case as they tend to do and falsely reported her as dead. Her life after was a continual nightmare and chaos, the press lied and hounded her, rehab was grueling, there was much nerve damage and muscle paralysis created range of motion issues, and nerve and muscle pain in the head and neck area created daily issues.

I started with a few incidents from her teenage years since that was the earliest she can remember anything major occurring. We tapped on those issues. Since she was interested in learning to do EFT for a Woman's Abuse Shelter I circled the issue to show her how to use it on PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder). We moved into a few family issues that transpired after the Attack as I slowly circled "The Knife Attack" and collapsed some other major stuff. We tapped separately on all the following, all were 10's on a scale of 1-10 when we began, we did about 2 rounds per issue. As we began going through each of them individually they dropped in intensity as they dominoed off the previous tapped issue.

1. Do Not feel safe 2. Have Anxiety 3. Have Depression 4. Have Gallstones (focused A LOT of time on SE point) 5. Have Fear 6. Have Fatigue 7. Have Pain 8. Have Pre-Diabetes 9. Have Low BP 10. Have Anger at the Government for not doing enough afterward 11. Have Agoraphobia and fear of noises and the dark 12. Having Severe Physical and Neurological issues were also addressed by telling the body to heal the muscles and nerves in the neck for increased blood flow. The side of the eye point is the Gall Bladder meridian and goes down through the area that was severed and damaged. She was having a lot of gallbladder problems. I got very detailed as we reprogrammed the body. 13. Media reported her as Dead and Betrayal and Lies 14. Her Attacker's Probation Hearing 15. Forgiveness to anyone/everyone including self 16. The Fear of Falling 17. Fear of Knives

I taught her to tap and what to work on and we stayed in contact through email for a few weeks, she did not feel ready yet to go through the actual knife attack yet. I could see the attack was already collapsing around her after the first 90 minutes session so we stopped for the day and let it take a slow transition. I have noticed over the years that when something traumatic is deeply embedded in the psyche a void is created that needs to be filled and the body needs time to adjust to the "new thoughts" and even though we are used to those quick miracles with EFT sometimes we need to put ourselves in the clients position and this was a very intense session.

K tapped on her headaches and a few additional issues along with anything that popped into her mind that she felt were tappable and new aspects being uncovered, I left it up to her as to when the next session would take place to give her control of the process. One day she dreamed about the attack. She was on the outside standing across the street at the curb watching it happen, but as a passerby. The issue had collapsed 80% without having to address the attack directly and with a bit of time, that was 2 days prior to our scheduled 2nd 90 minute session Second Session: Testing her level of intensity as a result of our first session, on a scale of 0-10 with all being 10's when we began the process:

  1. Not feeling safe, ZERO

  2. Anxiety, ZERO

  3. Depression, ZERO

  4. Gallstones (focused A LOT of time on SE point), ZERO

  5. Fear, ZERO

  6. Fatigue, 60% better ...ZERO after readdressing

  7. Pain, 60% better....readdressed and she had reduced pain medications

  8. Pre Diabetes and Glucose Levels are now Normal

  9. Low BP, Much Improved

  10. Anger at Government for not doing enough...low enough that after our first session she sent out paperwork she had been putting off to get money owed her

  11. Agoraphobia and fear of noises and fear of the dark, ZERO

  12. She is going out more and enjoying hobbies

  13. Fear of Falling, ZERO

  14. Media reporting her dead, ZERO

Physical and neurological issues were also addressed, lots of improvement in the neck areas to severed muscles and nerves, the numbing and tingling into arm was resolved focusing on the SE point (I added surrogate Meridian Therapy and Reiki) she has not had a gall bladder attack since our first session.

When K gets stressed the gall bladder meridian goes out of balance and needs to be addressed on a continual basis till the body heals in this area and the energy flows more freely, this is her Achilles heel. She is now able to do hobbies with her arms till she gets bored instead of stopping from the nerve and muscle pain and has no pain after doing these things like before EFT. She is able to hold a part time job now and is looking for one) After readdressing and testing her with issues already tapped on, we moved to re-addressing some issues involved with the attack to make sure they were a zero and added a few more issues doing rounds until they were also ZERO.

  1. High Cholesterol

  2. Sinus Issues

  3. Working with big knives and knives in general

  4. Physical Stamina and Strength

At the end of the 2nd session (90 minutes) she felt very relaxed and at peace for the first time in years. I had her run the attack through her memory again and she was on the sidewalk (even further distanced from attack) instead of at the curb watching the attack with no intensity or personal involvement When we started this journey together I had promised her peace after living for years traumatized from a vicious unprovoked attack. Peace is what EFT can bring to PTSD victims.
