Leg pain from accident disappears

Alert: This is one of 3,000 EFT Tapping articles that were written by users like you but before 2010. As such they are outdated and some of the links don't work. Nonetheless, they provide an excellent Peek at the Possibilities and show you the wide reach of even our older methods. See TRAINING for our free and near-free advanced methods.

Hi Everyone,

Even without knowing the details of the accident, but by listening to Jorge’s body and what it needed, Deborah Miller (from Mexico) was guided to help Jorge rid himself of the constant pain caused by an accident over 3 years ago. Notice Deborah's creative approaches.

Hugs, Gary

Jorge had been in an accident over 3 years ago.  His right leg got torn up pretty badly.  He had pins and clamps in his right leg and still has trouble walking.  He uses a cane and walked as if one leg was shorter than the other.  He had lots of pain.

Jorge mentioned that he had been feeling lots of pain that day; more than usual.  He explained that he takes pills to ease the pain, but it never goes away.  Since he knew I was in town to give an EFT workshop, he asked me to explain what I was going to do.  I gave him a brief description of EFT.  He asked what if you don’t believe it will work.  He said he’s been in pain for over 3 years and doubted that anything could take away his pain.  I said that even if you are skeptical, EFT can still work because it is working on your energy system.  This made him curious and I asked if he wanted to try it out.

We went into the living room.  Since he didn’t know anything about what I was going to do, he took off his shoe and sock to show me his leg and put it on my knee as if I should give him a massage.  He was surprised when I didn’t do anything with it but told him to tap the points as I was doing and repeat what I was saying.

I knew nothing about the accident, and I didn’t ask.  I was going to show him a little of how EFT worked so I started tapping on the following:

Even though I was in an accident, I’m a good person.

Even though I did a good thing because I gave my daughter a kidney, then right afterward I had to be punished by this accident…  (In passing he mentioned that he’d given his daughter a kidney shortly before he had the accident)

Even though I did a good thing, I had to suffer afterwards, I accept and forgive myself.

Eyebrow: All this pain. I’m always in pain

Side of Eye: All the pain, the pain in my ankle, it’s still swollen and hurts.

Under the Eye: It hurts to stand up. It hurts to walk.

Under Nose: I was selfish and stupid.

Chin: I wasn’t paying attention to anyone else, just me.

I did a little “body talk” with him, i.e., I asked him if he could imagine connecting to his body telling it he wanted to listen to it, and then to listen to his ankle and ask it what it wanted him to do.  He said it told him he needed to change and be more responsible.

Even though I’m not responsible and I wasn’t the day of the accident, I love and forgive myself.

Even though I did a good thing, I had to punish myself because I’m not a good person.

Even though I had to punish myself because I’m not responsible, it’s time to stop that, I paid my dues, I have suffered long enough, I learned, I am ready to let it go and heal.

I asked him what he would do if he could do anything imaginable to heal his leg.  He said he’d go back to before the accident.

Eyebrow: I’d go back to the day of the accident and make different choices, take a different turn, and not drive where I drove.

Side of Eye: I recognize what I’m doing before it happens and make different choices.

I am responsible.

Under the Eye: I care for others not just myself now even though I’m wasn’t responsible and was selfish before.

Under Nose: I learned that the day of the accident. I learned it well and can let go of the pain.

Chin: I give my body permission to heal. I learned my lesson. I learned to be responsible and I don’t have to suffer the rest of my life for it.

Collarbone: I paid a big price. I now am ready to heal.

Under the Arm: I ask my body to heal, my leg and ankle to heal.

Top of Head: I can move ahead now. I learned my lesson. I don’t have to punish myself anymore. I learned from my mistake. I move forward now.

I had him get up.  Normally the pain was a level of intensity of 10 out of 10 when standing and 0 out of 10 when sitting.  He stood up and could put pressure on the leg, but still felt a little bit of pain.  Just realize how amazed he was just that the pain had dropped down to a 2-3 in about 10 minutes.

He sat down and we tapped:

Eyebrow: The rest of the pain.

Side of Eye: The rest of the pain. I let it go completely.

Under the Eye:  I forgive myself for not being responsible.

Under Nose: I allow myself to heal now.

Chin: I am free of pain. I forgive myself and I move forward.

He put his sock and shoe back on and started walking around with a big grin on his face.  He kept saying: “It can’t be. It can’t be.”  He didn’t feel any pain; he could stand up, and walk easily.  He was all smiles and gave me the biggest hug as he hadn’t been without pain for over 3 years.  His son and wife were watching with amazement as were the others in the room.

He walked around, did some bends, stooped down, and then stood directly on his right leg lifting his left.  This is something he couldn’t do before without falling over.  As he walked you could see that his hips were level and his steps were easy.

He was completely amazed and joyful like a child with a new toy. He had gotten his body back, his freedom to move.

p.s. The following night he was dancing at a wedding.
