Hi Everyone,
Kiran Zehra Haider shows us how to use EFT to lighten up. Very useful. If everyone did this, I suspect this would be a much 'easier' world.

I have to admit that I never really understood the phrase “Let it be.” I could never let anything just be. I always had a stream of judgments about everything and everyone around me. Nothing ever measured up; everyone and everything had something wrong that needed to be fixed. Nothing was right so how could you just let it be?
In Dr. Pat Carrington’s demonstration of her Choices Method on the EFT Specialty Series 2 DVD set, she mentions one of her favorite choices for her clients, “Let it be easy.” What a startling phrase! And for many clients who feel life is just too difficult, it is a great choice, one that opens the door to a new way of being.
However, even that seemingly simple choice can create lots of tail-enders! (GC COMMENT: Tail-enders are the mental 'yes-buts' that tend to show up after an affirmation. This is discussed in my website article The Palace of Possibilities.) Yes, but how do I let it be easy? Yes but, what if it isn’t easy? Yes but, what if I get stuck on letting it be easy, then what will I do? So just go back to the set-up:
Even though I don’t know how to let it be easy…
Even though I might not know what to do if it isn’t easy…
Even though I might get stuck on letting it be easy…
Even though I have never known anything to be easy…
Even though life is supposed to be hard…
Then tap on reminders such as: TH It can be easy EB What if everything can be easy? SE It can’t be that easy! UE What would it feel like if everything is easy? UN What would life be like if I let it be easy? CH Easy, easy, easy CB Life is hard UA Maybe life can be easy
Often, one will begin to relax and feel a shift in resistance after a round or two. When I feel that we have reached a resolution with an issue, I often introduce the following reminders to bring the client to a conclusion with it as well:
TH It’s over EB It happened a long time ago SE It’s not happening now UE It’s just in my imagination UN I can let it go CH It happened CB It’s over UA I’m ok
Ending a session this way helps to give the client a sense of closure and comfort and really does let them “let it be easy.”
