I would like to share this brief surrogate EFT experience I had with my 93 year old mother who lives in Switzerland.  She lives in a flat on her own but there are nurses available if the need arises. Being very independent, she has never asked for help so far.

I called her yesterday and found her to be in a panic about a severe nosebleed she was having at the time of calling.  I did not need to ask her for an intensity level as it was obviously a 10 on a scale of 0 to 10.  I told her to take a few deep breaths and keep still and started surrogate tapping whilst she tried to control the blood flow with cotton wool.

Even though I have this nosebleed and it won’t stop…

Even though I have this panic about this nosebleed and don’t know what to do…

Even though I don’t know how I can make this nose bleed stop and worry I might lose too much blood…

Even though I worry they would make a fuss if I call for help and I don’t like it I now choose to calm down and trust it will stop any moment.

After about two minutes she suddenly exclaimed, “I think it has stopped!” I asked her to gently remove the cotton wool.  The bleeding had stopped and so did her panic.  She felt calm and was her usual self again.  It was wonderful to be able to help without her even knowing what I was up to at the other end of the phone.
