Using EFT to avoid tears while chopping onions

Alert: This is one of 3,000 EFT Tapping articles that were written by users like you but before 2010. As such they are outdated and some of the links don't work. Nonetheless, they provide an excellent Peek at the Possibilities and show you the wide reach of even our older methods. See TRAINING for our free and near-free advanced methods.

A thank you to Leslie North for this brief description of her "kitchen use" of EFT.

Try it on everything!

I was preparing dinner and chopping onions. Usually my eyes will begin to sting and get very bad until I have to squeeze them shut and tears start. This time, however, I tried tapping as soon as I felt the stinging sensation start. I did no EFT Set-up phrases. I just started with the eyebrow point.

There was not much change until I reached the collarbone and underarm point. The underarm point seemed particularly effective in quieting the stinging. It took 5 minutes or so to chop the whole onion and I had to tap about 3 times during the process but it was wonderful to avoid the tears.
